About Melissa May
Melissa May holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland in Communication and earned her teaching certificate from East Carolina University. She is currently in her sixth year of teaching middle school, following two years of experience as an instructional assistant in Grade 1. May became a teacher because she recognized that school can be difficult for many students, and her goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where they feel comfortable to learn and grow. And, of course, she has a passion for math!
